It's the biggest night of the year, so make it one to remember by counting down to 2017 at the most sensational celebration in the capital! Join us at Battersea Evolution, set in stunning Battersea Park, for a sensational night of incredible food, mesmerising live entertainment and an electric atmosphere.

 

As you arrive in the cold and frosty Battersea Park you will feel the vibrations of drumming as you approach the riotous city of samba and the hottest party of the season “Carnivale”.

“Carnivale” brings a heady blend from Brazil to Bolivia, from New Orleans to Haiti and from Venice to Cadiz. A colourful celebration of Mardis Gras, limbo, calypso, flamboyant costumes, exotic food and crazy cocktails. Climb the hill to Alto Vidigal and marvel at the Favela street scenes, rusty iron roofs awash with a rainbow of colours. Sip on Caprinhia’s cocktails as you take in the sights and sounds from the tropical hillside.

As you walk through the bustling streets of the Carnivale, jaw dropping entertainers tower above you with dazzling jewelled feathers and a dark twist of Dia le dos. The spicy aromas of sensational street food tempt you into the various street food stalls from rich spicy Acarajae to Bourbon glazed chicken skewers. A giant glittering Carnival mask catches your eye and lure’s you into a street parade, an explosion of glitter and streamers fall from the sky as you arrive into the dining hall for a lavish feast.

Piece after piece of stunning entertainment punctuate each course of dinner, building to a grand finale. As dinner comes to an end, the real party lies in wait. The DJ beckons party-goers on to the dance floor for a night of nonstop partying. Venture onto the dodgems or try your hand at the casino, the night is young! How to get to Battersea Evolution

Battersea Evolution is located in the heart of the UK's capital, London, less than 2 miles from Park Lane, providing easy access by public transport or car.

By Public Transport

  • Victoria Mainline Station – 1.1 miles
  • Sloane Square Tube Station – 0.8 miles
  • Battersea Park / Queenstown Road Stations – 0.8 miles
  • Buses to Queenstown Road (Chelsea Gate): 137 (N137), 44 (N44) and 452

By Taxi

Please advise taxi drivers to take the Chelsea Gate entrance into Battersea Park, situated on Queenstown Road next to Chelsea Bridge.

Battersea Evolution has a designated black taxi rank which operates for all evening events, and can be activated on request of the event organiser for daytime events. Alternatively we have staff on site who can facilitate booking of private taxis.

By Car

Please ensure you drive into the park via the Chelsea Gate entrance, situated on Queenstown Road next to Chelsea Bridge. There is free car parking directly in front of the venue and a number of public pay and display car parks (free after 5pm) in Battersea Park. All parking is on a first come first served basis.

By Coach

With extensive space in front of the venue, it is possible to arrange private coaching and/or shuttle buses for your guests to and from the venue. We would be happy to assist if you wish to arrange coach transportation for your guests.

Got a question about our parties? These handy tips are designed to give you the answers and all the information you’ll need to prepare for your party:

What is the dress code?

Our guests love getting dressed up and it really adds to that extra special feeling to the night, so get those glad rags out and smarten up! Fancy dress is permitted if tasteful and in keeping with the theme. Absolutely no jeans, trainers or sportswear will be allowed but black tie is more than welcome.

How does the booking process work?

You can provisionally book tickets for 10 days during which a deposit of £15 pp. is required to confirm the booking. If we haven’t received the deposit within 10 days, your tickets will be released. The remaining balance needs to be paid no later than 8 weeks prior to the event.

What is the minimum booking?

All groups must be for a minimum of 1 person.

Can we add people onto our booking?

You can add people onto your booking up to two days before your Christmas party, provided that we have space available on the evening. You can do so by logging into ‘MyParty’ or giving us a call on 0207 836 1033.

What happens if we cancel a ticket? Is the ticket refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Cancellations can only be made by the party organiser and must be made in writing to the head office. Any refunds due are based on the date of cancellation. We regret no refunds are due if you cancel less than 14 days before your event date. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information on our cancellation policy.

How do i receive confirmation of payments and booking from you?

All of our correspondence is via email so you receive everything from us in the most efficient way possible.

Are under 18’s allowed to come?

Guests aged 14 and 17 are welcome provided they are accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them. We operate a strict policy regarding underage drinking, which is not permitted under any circumstance.

Do I need to order my canapés?

No, canapés are served from 6.45pm during the reception.

Can I have pick my own menu?

While we aim to cater for different dietary requirements, I’m afraid due to the number of guests we host each night, we cannot offer more options than those shown on the menu page.

A member of my party has a food allergy, what options are available for them?

No problem! We aim to cater for all allergies so simply let us know the specifics a minimum of 4 weeks prior to your party date and we’ll get in touch to discuss.

How are the tables arranged?

Our tables seat between 8-12 people. Larger groups are accommodated over more than one table. We have a limited number of tables to seat groups of 14 which are allocated on request.

When will I receive my tickets?

Your tickets will be sent out around 2 weeks before your event, assuming we have received your final balance payment. For bookings after 21st December, due to the Christmas postal service, we will not send out tickets, but will operate a guest list on the door.

Is there car parking?

We have ample, free car parking adjacent to the venue.
