Account Manager

We are looking for a creative, organised account manager with a good foundation of technical and production knowledge. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key client accounts and leading projects from end-to-end.



This role is ideal for a creative, organised account manager with a good foundation of technical and production knowledge. Reporting directly to, and working closely alongside, the Director you will help lead the wider team in creating bespoke experiences and managing client relationships.

Smart Live, a company within Smart Group, are looking to expand their team after having a successful 2020/21 delivering Virtual Events. As we continue back into a normal world, Smart Live are looking to deliver events both in a Virtual and Live capacity and are excited about what the team can achieve next.


The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of client accounts, delivering virtual, live and hybrid events such as Conferences, Business Updates, Summer/ Christmas Parties, and other employee engagement activations. They will also support Smart Group on a variety of events including London Ski and Snowboard Festival, The London Bierfest, and Exclusive and Shared Summer and Christmas Parties.


+ Responsible for managing dedicated accounts as the key client contact and project manager, handling all communications and project deliverables.

+ Building proposals and tender responses, producing a response that not only matches but exceeds the client’s expectations.

+ Lead client projects from enquiry to delivery, producing project reports, meeting agendas and minutes, and full budget management of up to £500k.

+ Our projects predominately focus on corporate conferences and business updates, so the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting clients when creating content such as scripting, briefing in designs for speaker slides and video creation.

+ Managing deliverables at Christmas and Summer Parties.

+ Managing accounts to grow them organically.

+ Support Smart Group on a variety of events across the year.


+ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in delivering events (live and virtual).

+ Have a good foundation of technical and production knowledge.

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint/ Keynote and Word.

+ Be knowledgeable about London venues.

+ Experience in any of the following would be useful but not mandatory;

         – Show calling and technical running orders.

         – Experience using Salesforce.

         – New business sales.

+ Be proactive, have a hardworking and self-starter attitude.

+ Be organised, calm under pressure and have the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Be fun, be creative and be passionate in all that you deliver.
