On Saturday 9th July, BMW Group held their annual summer festival on the grounds of Fleet Spurs Football Club in Farnborough. Produced by creative event specialists Smart Live, the one day festival was designed to bring BMW’s employees together for a fun filled family day out.
Throughout the day, guests enjoyed food and drinks in the three piece tipi tent, whilst soaking up live music provided by artists such as The Somebodys, Gloria Adereti, The Top Bananas (the UK’s only band on stilts) and BMW’s very own Rock Choir. Guests also enjoyed a variety of fairground rides, a bouncy castle, circus performers, food vans and a three piece tipi bar. BMW added their own experiential element to the festival with Google’s tilt brush activation tent and a virtual reality car experience.
Smart Live’s Event Producer Karla Bonello said: “This was the first time Smart Live had worked with BMW and was very rewarding to see everyone enjoy themselves. We greatly look forward to working with the team at BMW again soon.”
A highlight for many of the 1,000 guests included a bungee trampoline for children and a hearts and diamonds gravity defying ride for adults. Every aspect of enjoyment was covered by the Smart Live team. For the younger generation a soft play area; equipped with bouncy castle and ball pits were also provided to ensure every age group had as much fun as the next.
