Our Round Up Of Christmas In Colorado
Fri 07 Aug 2015
This year, Smart Christmas Parties is bringing Christmas in Colorado to EventCity, Manchester. We'll transport you to an electric après ski-party atmosphere, which transports guests to a glamorous, ice-cool ski resort setting inspired by the world famous hotspots of Aspen and Vail.
This party is crammed full of amazing fun and entertainment. Here are the highlights.
1. Shake off the snow
Yes, that’s right. SNOW! It will be snowing when you arrive, so you can Instagram that to make all your chums jealous, and then you can try your best Taylor Swift impression to shake it off before you put your coat in the cloakroom. Will Smith gives a good demo here:
2. Gathering round a roaring log fire
With fur lined seats, it’s a perfect opportunity to get cosy as friendly staff serve you delicious drinks and exquisite canapés from the individual log cabin bars. Oooooooooooo.
3. Get free vodka shots from the dazzling ice queen hanging from a chandelier
Balancing from the ceiling, we reckon you’ll spend about 10 seconds marvelling and wondering just how she does it before you realise, she’s got free vodka! Quick!
4. Watch the coyote bar come to life
Move over Leanne Rimes, this is your opportunity to make the most of your ‘Coyote Ugly’ dream. The crowds will gather to watch breath taking performances and high octane shows as they up the temperature with incredible dance acts.
5. An explosion of pyrotechnics
A rumble between the wooden cabins will capture your attention as a blanket of snow falls to the ground to reveal a night sky filled with giant sparkling snowflakes and huge glittering stars.
6. A festive feast is served
Good food is key to a great Christmas party, this year our menu features some festive classics. Here’s a taster:
For main course, traditional roast breast of turkey, chestnut and sage stuffing, Cumberland sausage, wrapped in streaky bacon. Served with duck fat roast potatoes, sticky parsnips and buttered brussel sprouts and kale.
For dessert, we are rocking a triple chocolate fudge brownie with black forest cherries and clotted cream ice cream. WOW!
7. You’ll be entertained between every course
As the food, drink and banter flow, a fabulous cast embark on a spectacular show. Skaters whirl across the frozen lake; aerial acts swing from the starlit ceiling and dancers and acrobats fill the floor with a seething masse of energy and verve.
8. Bust some moves on the illuminated dance floor before a dramatic balloon drop
The DJ is ready for your night of non-stop dancing, as they whip the crowd into a frenzy amongst the lasers, a dramatic balloon drop fills the dance floor.
9. Go head to head with your colleagues on the duelling bucking bronco
It wouldn’t be an office Christmas party without a bit of competition. Challenge your colleague to a ride off, the winner gets a shot of red eye whiskey.
If that’s a bit too much for you, you can try the other western style games like the tin can toss or go panning for gold.
10. Take a spin on the waltzer or go bump to bump on the adrenaline pumping dodgems.
What better after dinner entertainment than an exhilarating fairground ride to bring your group together.
