Springboard Awards for Excellence 2022
We are proud to announce that we are sponsors of the Springboard Awards for Excellence 2022. Springboard was established in 1990 to support the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry and those seeking employment within it, with three key aims:
- To advance the life and education of those under the age of 25, through the provision of advice, training and skills courses.
- To relieve poverty and unemployment by assisting people to secure jobs in the hospitality sector.
- Tackle ongoing problems the hospitality, leisure and tourism industries face, including staff and skills shortages and misrepresentation about what a fulfilling career they offer.
The Awards were created to recognise those in the industry who have shown amazing resilience and innovation over the past year as the industry rebuilds. Our hospitality superstars as we like to call them!
You can nominate yourself or another deserving business or individual for the Springboard Awards for Excellence. Entries are free and easy to do online. The deadline for final entries is Friday 3rd December 2021 and the shortlist will be announced on Wednesday 2nd February 2022.
There are 16 award categories including; Best Recruitment Initiative, Best Talent Onboarding, Employee Health & Wellbeing and Business Innovation. Plus some new awards for 2022, including Disability Confidence Award and Best Kickstart Employer. You can find out more about all of the categories here.
The ceremony will take place in Spring 2022 at Illuminate which is situated on Level 4 and 5 of the Science Museum with stunning panoramic views of the city.
