Smart Hospitality were thrilled to cater the recent showcase event at Printworks on the 19th April. Among 250 specially invited guests arrived to a cocktail reception before making their way through the labyrinth of event spaces before entering the Press hall where the event took place.
Catering by Smart Hospitality included two live cooking stations serving pad thai and shredded duck steamed buns which created a street food style atmosphere when guests arrived. The live cooking element added theatre to the service and guests were invited to add various toppings to make the dish their own. Bowl food service followed with dishes such as red Thai chicken curry, teriyaki fillet of beef and cauliflower mac n cheese. To conclude, guests enjoyed desserts such as vanilla cream, summer berries, bubble gum meringues and strawberries pipette.
Smart Hospitality wanted to ensure that the catering throughout the event complimented the industrial, cosmopolitan and unceremonious nature of the venue and achieved this by serving relaxed street style food with a touch of interactivity and theatre.
Since its launch, Printworks London has hosted a range of events including Mulberry’s SS17 fashion show, the world’s first immersive drive-through car launch for Toyota, an interactive dining experience for Britvic and most recently, the live world-premiere of the new Gorillaz album.
