When it comes to exhibitions, you need as much room as possible to showcase your event at its best. We have a 5,000 person capacity for exhibitions, allowing plenty of room for all the stands, stalls and stages you want to fit in the space, without compromising on generously sized walkways.
As well as having room for 5,000 attendees, we can also offer 24-hour access to the venue when you’re hosting an exhibition, allowing you to make the most out of your time at Battersea Evolution and ensure your event is a complete success.
In 2017, the Ski and Snowboard Show returned to Battersea Evolution, this time bringing together 30,000 winter sports fans across the duration of the exhibition. We had to utilise every corner of the venue to ensure the desired aesthetic for the space was achieved. We constructed a 50ft kicker with real snow outside the venue, fitted a Crystal ice rink and filled the inside and outside of the venue with alpine street food stalls, live music and of course, all of the brand stalls.
Alongside this winter sports themed exhibition, Battersea Evolution has also been the backdrop for other exhibitions such as the London Motor Show and Decorative Arts Fair.
When it comes to parties, we’re the experts. We know how to throw an unforgettable celebration here at Battersea Evolution, and whether that be an awards evening or a corporate party, we can make it a night to remember.
The venue has a total capacity of 4,000 and can seat 2,000 for dinner whilst still leaving more than enough room for a main stage, bars around the perimeter of the venue and space for live entertainment to take place.
We were thrilled when the organisers of the ‘WeWork Creators Awards’ got in contact to say they wanted to host their upcoming ceremony and celebration at Battersea Evolution. 1,300 likeminded creatives came together for a night of achievement and recognition, all hosted by Reggie Yates and Carly Wilford. We customised the layout of the venue for this event, creating separate zones for masterclasses, markets, job fairs and workshops, as well as filling the venue with food stations offering up cuisines from around the world.
Once the learning element of the event was done, the venue had a quick costume change to transform into the perfect space for an after party where the focus was on the bars, more food and live DJ sets from the likes of Annie Mac.
As well as the WeWork Awards, Battersea Evolution has seen other famous faces head through the doors for awards ceremonies such as the Chelsea FC Awards, RPA Players’ Awards, and the L'Oreal Colour Trophy 2018.
Charity dinners are truly remarkable and significant evenings that deserve the very best backdrop, so we always go out of our way to ensure everything is picture perfect when we’re hosting a charity dinner. Similarly to awards evenings, Battersea Evolution can comfortably seat 2,000 diners, ideal for charity events.
We have hosted the Waitrose Suppliers’ Gala Dinner every year since 2012, welcoming 1,500 guests through the door for an evening of unforgettable dining, entertainment and most of all, fundraising. Waitrose join forces with their suppliers to raise money for Grocery Aid and to help them achieve their targets every year, and we support in dressing the venue to perfection. A dressed outdoor area, stunning reception, spaciously laid out dining area, mouth-watering three-course meal and more.
We’ve also played host to other incredible charity events such as the smaller-scale Battersea Dogs and Cats Home’s annual ‘Collars and Coats’ Gala Ball, a celebration that returns each year to Battersea Evolution with around 700 guests.
Conferences have changed over the years, now demanding more flexible venues and creative planning to be a success, and that’s what we’re able to provide at Battersea Evolution.
Our venue can hold 4,000 conference attendees with ease and that still leaves more than enough room for a main stage and other areas for workshops, presentations and so on.
When mobile phone brand Huawei wanted to launch their new P9 phone to the world, they chose to hold a press conference and launch event at Battersea Evolution for 1,000 people. The smaller attendance meant we could utilise the free space and create separate areas for presentations, demos and interviews, as well as giving the space the wow factor with décor additions such as an LED entrance tunnel and infinity booth.
Battersea Evolution isn’t known as London’s most versatile venue for no reason and we think the above proves that. It’s a combination of intelligent architecture, cleverly crafted décor and a team of highly experienced staff that mean this venue can have the flexible capacity it does.
