We were given the task to engage a male audience and boost our client's profile among young music lovers.
We designed a pop-up activation at Wireless Festival in Hyde Park, London, with multiple engagement channels to interact with our client’s target audience. The activation was a split level pop-up created out of shipping containers. On the top deck, we had a DJ booth and performance area and managed to secure the likes of Manny Norte, Il Blu, Alexa Goddard and Raleigh Ritchie. The top deck also had a VIP and press area on one side, and a beauty area on the other for quick fix festival hair and makeup appointments.
We had two photo booths, a bar and chill out Ibiza style lounge area within the centre of the activation. We ran limbo and chin up competition on the hour to win side of stage passes for the main stage, these were both hugely popular, particularly with their male target audience.
We also designed and installed a DIY beauty area which was a huge hit with festival goers, and a pop-up shop to promote our client’s key range. The pop-up shop hit over and above their sales targets every day. We helped our client interact with the artists backstage by designing a chill-out Air Stream with a photo booth inside.
By the end of the 2-day event, our GIF Photo Booth, VIP GIF Booth, and Green Screen Photo Booth had over 7,000 users and the total reach of our Twitter campaign was 135,354,042. Overall the event was a huge success!
