Our objective was to reward 120 employees from across the UK, Dublin and the surrounding counties and to show recognition for a successful year.
The two-day one-night programme started on a high, with a tour of the world famous Guinness Storehouse. After a short business briefing, the guests experienced a pint of the black stuff in the Gravity Bar, which offers 360 degree views of the beautiful Dublin.
We then transferred the guests to the 5-star Powerscourt Hotel, in County Wicklow, but this wasn't your regular coach journey...En route each coach separately picked up a ‘hitchhiker’, which turned out to be a local musician who entertained the coach and got everyone singing along!
On arrival at Powerscourt Hotel, the guests were greeted with an impactful performance by a troop of Celtic drummers with a fire performer, before being shown to their bedrooms.
The gala dinner was held in the stunning Powerscourt House and included a harpist playing on arrival and a magical performance from Celtic Live throughout dinner. The guests were treated to traditional Irish songs, river dance performances and had the chance to get involved. After dinner, we revealed the secret party room where we had DJ Knight accompanied by a sax player, singers and live percussion.
The following day the guests tried their hands at some Celtic challenges, including turf stacking and hurling, in the beautiful gardens at Powerscourt Estate, before they departed for lunch at Johnnie Fox’s, the highest pub in Ireland.
Smart Live thoroughly enjoyed immersing themselves in the company's culture and designed and delivered the entire programme from communications to travel & logistics, event design and production, activities and entertainment, as well as on-site management.
Our client said: "We have used several event companies in the past and Smart Live far exceeded all of our experiences and expectations - totally professional and a great team to work with. Can't wait to work with them again!"
