The candidate will be a key member of the catering operations team, assisting and reporting to the Group Back of House Manager. The candidate will be required to ensure that Moving Venue continues to operate its events to an ‘industry leading’ standard.

• Assisting the Group Back of House Manager in the training, implementation and monitoring of the company’s Health & Safety and Food Safety policies and any other legislative requirements
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of food products and equipment for events ensuring that company procedures are followed, allowing the safe transportation and delivery of goods
• Ensuring that all equipment is cleaned after use and hygienically maintained as per the company’s cleaning schedule
• Ensuring that chemicals and cleaning materials are stored and used in accordance with COSHH and Health & Safety legislation
• Assisting the Group Back of House Manager & Logistics team in the training, implementation and monitoring of the company’s Health & Safety and Food Safety policies and any other legislative requirements
• Attending training sessions as required, both internal and external
• Representing Moving Venue in the most positive way both internally and externally
• Any other reasonable duties as required in pursuit of the efficient and profitable management of the company
• Assist in the warehouse as and when needed and help cover any absences.
• Assist the Logistics manager with on-going driver training
• Collect/ insure & inspect all hire vehicles on collection & return.
• Carry out and update driving licence checks bi-annually.
• Assist the logistics manager in updating/processing all vehicle checks & logs.

Health & Safety / Food Safety Duties
