2018 was another successful year for Smart Group: we welcomed 80,000 party-goers to our Christmas parties across London and beyond, we started new partnerships with venues such as Illuminate at The Science Museum, and we delivered some great catering and event management locally and internationally. We can’t wait to see what 2019 will bring…here’s just a taste of what we’re really excited about.
New venue
Magazine London launching in the summer
If you haven’t heard already, we recently gained a very exciting partnership with Greenwich Peninsula’s newest venue, Magazine London. The venue will officially launch during the summer and will have capacity for 3,000 guests, with the opportunity to expand to 10,000 guests using the adjoining landscaped environment. Two of the Group’s divisions, Moving Venue and Smart Christmas Parties, will come together to deliver exceptional catering and event management, including Christmas parties with an ice-cool après theming. Royal Ascot
18th June to 23rd June
Smart Sport are proud to offer world-class hospitality packages at major sporting events around the UK. A highlight each year is Royal Ascot, where we will once again be offering an exquisite day of hospitality at two separate locations in June.
At The Village Restaurant, guests will experience delectable food by Smart Hospitality, with a three course luncheon and afternoon tea, as well as entertainment including live music, complimentary beer, wine, selected spirits and soft drinks throughout the day, and much more!
Alternatively, The Villiers Club is Royal Ascot’s prime social spot, where the vibrant atmosphere continues long after the last race. This year, we’re offering a delicious menu, sensational entertainment, and an after-party where you can sip on cocktails from London’s finest mixologists while the sun sets. Live music and DJs will punctuate the evening, and you’ll leave having celebrated this highlight of the social calendar in style.

Ski & Snowboard Festival
24th-27th September
The Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Festival has taken place at Battersea Evolution for 4 years now, impressing 30,000 winter sports fans each time. We love how this event truly takes over the venue, both indoor and outdoor,. with Mount Battersea, a 50ft kicker with real snow, out front and a Crystal Ice Rink at the back of the venue. We’ve had an absolutely cracking run from start to finish this Christmas, a particular highlight being our new theme at Battersea Evolution: Around the World in 80 Days. To Host Best Companies To Work For Awards
We’re excited to announce that we have a new, prestigious event coming to Battersea Evolution next month: The Sunday Times Best Companies To Work For Awards. The annual event will this year celebrate 325 organisations who are placed on 4 lists published by The Sunday Times, and will welcome around 2,800 guests across two nights. Smart Live have been brought on board to help create two inspiring and engaging events for all in attendance, and Smart Hospitality will be serving up delicious catering – watch this space to see how the event unravels!
